Stefan Johannes Bleicher (b. 1962) studied concert organ with Lionel Rogg and historical performance practice with Nikolaus Harnoncourt. As a result of his successful concert performances, his radio and television productions, and more than thirty CD recordings (all of which have been well received), he is considered one of the leading organ soloists of his generation. On this CD, Bleicher plays the Goll/Kuhn organ of the Linsebühlkirche. Disposition of the instrument is included in the booklet.
